About the event

This workshop is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of emotions, feelings, and their impact on students' emotional intelligence. Through interactive learning experiences, educators and professionals will delve into the intricacies of supporting students' emotional well-being and fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Participants will explore the fine distinctions between emotions and feelings, gaining valuable insights into how these interconnected aspects influence students' behaviors and responses. Participants will develop a nuanced perspective on the diverse causes and potential solutions connected to specific feelings, empowering them to address emotional challenges effectively.

Central to the curriculum is the identification of the adult mindset essential for supporting students' emotional intelligence. Participants will explore the qualities and behaviors that create a conducive space for emotional growth and development in students. By nurturing a supportive and empathetic approach, educators can foster emotional resilience and positive self-awareness in their students.

An integral aspect of this course centers around body awareness and its profound role in emotional regulation. Participants will learn to discern the various ways body awareness can manifest in students, enabling them to use this information as a powerful tool in supporting emotional regulation strategies.

By developing a heightened sensitivity to non-verbal cues and somatic experiences, educators can guide students toward greater emotional self-control and well-being.

This course caters to those working in educational settings who seek to enhance their understanding

and practical skills in nurturing emotional intelligence in students. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises, role-playing, and reflective discussions to reinforce their learning and application of trauma-informed approaches.
